We are seeking a marketing assistant with a passion for content creation to support the team in executing our digital strategies. Reporting to the Marketing Coordinator, you will be involved in producing photo and video content for our social networks, setting up newsletters, and creating visuals in line with our brand image. Your excellent creative sense, keen eye for design, and ability to work as part of a team will enable you to contribute to the development of our brand across different digital platforms.

A typical day at MINI TIPI involves:

  • Producing and editing photo and video content for social networks (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) according to established guidelines.
  • Executing content calendar provided by coordinator for social media, blog, and newsletters.
  • Ensuring prompt and professional responses to comments and messages on social networks.
  • Implementing newsletters and email campaigns according to schedule.
  • Compiling monthly marketing statistics in the dashboard.
  • Writing blog posts according to assigned themes.
  • Creating visuals with Photoshop and Canva according to branding guides.
  • Formating artist cards and create labels for collections.
  • Adding product descriptions and content to the website.
  • Assisting with photo shoots: taking simple photos and basic retouching in Photoshop.
  • Preparing promotional material for events according to guidelines.
  • Creating personalized labels for corporate orders.
  • Helping set up collaborations with influencers.
  • Support Marketing Coordinator in various projects as needed.

We are looking for someone with: 

  • DEC or certificate in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Proficiency in creative software (Photoshop, Canva)
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English and French (written and oral)
  • 1-2 years' experience in digital marketing, with particular emphasis on content creation.
  • Basic skills in photography and video editing
  • Proficiency in content marketing tools and platforms
  • Interest in Indigenous culture
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify)
  • Knowledge of Klaviyo
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Portfolio demonstrating achievements in content creation
  • A creative mind with an excellent eye for design
  • Open to feedback
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A team spirit and ability to follow instructions
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
