We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to add to our team. As a key member of our production team, they are responsible for operating the sewing machines to produce the various products in our collection line. Our team of operators is committed, attentive and participates in the development and continuous improvement of our products. The ideal candidate will be able to follow instructions, precise, and efficient, with a passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, and  an appreciation for Indigenous arts and cultures.

A typical day at MINI TIPI involves:

• Operating industrial sewing machines in a production line
• Performing repetitive tasks consistently
• Working in a goal-oriented environment
• Following the instructions from our Head of Production
• Meeting individual daily quotas

We are looking for someone with : 

• Have 2-3 years of experience using industrial sewing machines
• Attention to detail 
• Able to work in a dynamic environment
• Team spirit and open-mindedness
• The ability to sit for long periods of time
• Demonstrate organization and ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
• Ability to keep a steady hand while running fabric through a machine
• Experience in production line operations
• Able to perform repetitive tasks
• A strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to follow instructions
• Ability to understand machine operation instructions
